🌿 Year-Round Birding
San Blas is home to over 300 resident bird species, including the San Blas Jay, Citreoline Trogon, and Russet-crowned Motmot, making it a fantastic destination in any season.
🍂 October – April: Peak Migration Season
During the cooler months, thousands of migratory birds arrive from North America, greatly increasing the number of species present. Wetlands, mangroves, and coastal areas come alive with:
Warblers, flycatchers, and orioles
Shorebirds like Whimbrels and Wilson’s Plovers
