Whether it’s swimming with the whale sharks, a deep sea fishing excursion, a waterfall trip, a surf lesson or a sublime massage there is a whole world activities and excursions that we can coordinate for you during your stay...or you could go birding and spend your afternoons relaxing by the pool with a good book. You choose !
Boat Tours: A great way to explore this beautiful area by providing easy transportation up rivers, across oceans, and through estuaries. Enjoy a visit to the sacred rock formation of Tatei Haramara, also known as the Ocean Goddess to the Huichol Indians. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture the awesome scenery.
Humpback Whale Watching: Make sure to keep an eye out and your camera ready because in addition you might spot a range of seabirds, rays, dolphins, and even a whale shark next to your boat.
Swim with the Whale Sharks: Come swim alongside the ocean’s gentle giants. An in-water snorkeling guide will be there every step of the way, bringing you within arms length of the largest fish in the sea. A thrilling of a trip.
Scuba diving: Enjoy the opportunity to spot colorful fish, sea turtles, manta rays, whales, dolphins, and other abundant ocean life in San Blas’ tropical waters.
Isla Isabel: Often referred to as the "Mexican Galápagos," Parqué Nacional Isla Isabel is a must visit for any birding enthusiast, deep sea diver, or nature lover alike. Offering 1 or 2 night excursions, all meals and camping gear included. Over 42,000 birds, wetland vegetation, coral reefs, and white sand beaches await you.
Islas Marías: Located approx 3 hours off the coast of San Blas, these islands were once Mexico’s most infamous prison colony but have recently been opened to eco-tourism as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. For birders, they’re a hidden gem, home to unique species like the Islas Marías Mockingbird and massive seabird colonies of Blue-footed Boobies, Frigatebirds, and Tropicbirds. Since the islands were largely untouched for decades, their habitats remain pristine, making them an important stop for migratory birds and a prime spot for coastal and marine birding. Right now, access is limited, with ferries running from San Blas. If this trip is of interest to you please let us know as soon as possible as ferry schedules are limited.
Reef Fishing: These popular five hour trips fish the 12 mile coastline from El Asadero (La Piedra del Elefante) to Platanitos Reef according to the best bite.
Deep Sea: With offshore waters that boast fish weighing between 4 and 300 pounds – including sailfish, marlin, yellowfin tuna, wahoo, snapper and more – it’s little surprise that the fishing here is so good. Targeted grounds are located approx. 25 miles offshore.
Big Game: Enjoy the opportunity to hook some of the ocean's largest and fiercest fish while on this tour. Embark on a 2 day adventure where you'll be taken just beyond the limits of the Isla Maria Cleofas to some of the best fishing spots in the area. Overnight stay in Isla Isabel National Park.
Kayak Excursions and Rentals: A great way to explore the natural beauty of the area by sea. Explore on your own or have one of our experienced guides lead the way.
Surf Lessons and Rentals: Whether you want to learn to surf or take your skills to the next level, our instructors are experienced surfers themselves and have a wealth of ocean knowledge to share. Boogie boards rentals available as well. A guaranteed fun day at the beach!
Waterfalls: In addition to enjoying the sun and the waves, we invite you to explore our local waterfalls. At approximately 70 ft high and 40 ft deep, El Cora Waterfall is a great place for freshwater diving, swimming, or merely just relaxing.
